Reversible causes should be addressed and gentle effective evidence based treatments should be tried if possible, prior to starting any medications.

In Perth, skin cancer is a major problem because of the sunny climate. A family history of skin cancer is an important risk factor. Other environmental agents and the immune system also play a role. Dr Gild specializes in both the assessment and management of skin cancers as well as all medical problems involving the hair, nails and skin for children and adults.
